Expect to see quite a few very large machine tools at this show, especially horizontal boring mills and flatbed lathes with large spindle bores. Activity in the energy, oilfield and power generation markets is a key factor driving interest in these machines. (Machines to handle large aerospace components will also be conspicuous but no more so than at the last IMTS.)
