Emerging Technology Center

Connectivity & Interoperability - "Are you Connected?"
The Emerging Technology Center (ETC) will be showcasing MTConnect this year, a new communication protocol standard for passing data between devices, equipment, and higher level applications. The ETC will continue to have university & research laboratories exhibit their new technology research and development efforts in science-based manufacturing and innovative process developments.

Advanced Manufacturing Center takes Flight in the New West Building

Anchored by global aerospace leader, Boeing, the Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) at IMTS 2008 will offer visitors a look at latest in manufacturing technology and a look at the revolutionary 787 Dreamliner interior display. Learn more here.

Synergy Robotics Entertainment is proud to offer two opportunities for IMTS attendees to experience the thrills of robot combat. In booth B-6171 attendees can sign up to compete or simply watch peers go head to head in live robot combat action. Each 20 minute show will feature a mini round robin competition between four audience drivers followed by a brief awards ceremony. Sign up alone or as a group, and get ready to prove your skills in the arena.

Synergy Robotics Entertainment is proud to offer two opportunities for IMTS attendees to experience the thrills of robot combat.In booth D-4375 attendees will experience the spark flying destruction that has attracted so many people to robot combat. Watch live as bots demonstrate their power by shredding lawn mowers, microwaves, printers and much more. Never before have you been able to get this close to action so intense that it takes two panes of poly carbonate to contain the debris.
